Es fiel mir sehr leicht, meinen früheren Job als Kommunikationsberaterin in der Werbung aufzugeben für den Job der kynologischen Verhaltensberaterin. Meine 3jährige Ausbildung beim canis Institut für Kynologie habe ich 2012 als von der Tierärztekammer Schleswig-Holstein zertifizierte Absolventin abgeschlossen. Meine tägliche Arbeit als Hundetrainerin beschert mir seither unendlich viele Begegnungen mit den interessantesten Menschen und ihren Hunden. Jedes einzelne dieser Mensch-Hund-Teams formuliert individuelle Ansprüche und verdient dementsprechend angepasste Trainingskonzepte, vom noch völlig unproblematischen Welpen bis hin zum inadäquat aggressiven erwachsenen Hund, sowohl als auch bzgl. unkontrollierbaren Jagdverhaltens oder angstinduzierter Verhaltensprobleme. Darüber hinaus habe ich bis zu meinem Wegzug aus Hamburg 2023 als Sachverständige zur Beurteilung der Gefährlichkeit von Hunden inklusive Abnahme des Wesenstests fungiert. Und mit großer Begeisterung bin ich seit Jahren Mitglied des Dozententeams bei canis, wo ich dazu beitrage, neue Hundetrainer profund und nach den neuesten wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen bzgl. der Lerntheorie unserer Hunde auszubilden.

It was very easy for me to give up my previous job as a communications consultant in advertising to become a canine behaviour consultant.
